David Hume

David Hume was a Scottish philosopher born in 1711. He was a central figure of the Scottish Enlightenment and is known for his contributions to empiricism and skepticism. His works examined human understanding, causation, religion, and morality. An Enquiry Concerning Human Understanding remains one of his most influential texts.
