Manik Bandopadhyay

Manik Bandopadhyay (1908–1956) was a prominent Bengali novelist and short story writer. He is regarded as one of the leading figures of modern Bengali fiction. His works often explore social realism, class conflict, and the psychological struggles of ordinary people.
