Rangalal Bandopadhyay

Rangalal Bandopadhyay (1827–1887) was a Bengali poet associated with early nationalist and romantic trends in 19th-century literature. His works often drew upon Rajput history and heroic themes. Padmini Upakhyan is one of his notable narrative poems.
