Tarashankar Bandopadhyay

Tarashankar Bandopadhyay (1898–1971) was a prominent Bengali novelist and short story writer. His works often portray rural Bengal, marginalized communities, and social transformation. He received the Jnanpith Award for his contribution to Indian literature.
